New Launch: NUDA’s Sugar, A Rapid Clear Solution
NUDA Canada (@NudaCanada) has extended their professional solution line to now include a clear, rapid solution; Sugar. The new solution is bronzer-free but users can start to see the tan develop within just one hour. The recommended development period is one to five hours; one to two hours for a light tan, three to four hours for a medium tan, and four to five hours for a dark tan. And of course, like most professional solutions, the color will fully develop in 24 hours after application.
Sugar is water-based, fragrance-free, vegan, and cruelty-free. As far as ingredients go, the solution contains vitamins A, B, C, D, and E; aloe vera; and cucumber extract to nourish and soothe the skin as the tan develops.
The obvious perk to using a clear solution is there is no color guide/added bronzer to rub off on clothes, sheets, and furniture. The not so obvious perk? The tan’s depth is controlled by the user as there is no added bronzer to trick them into thinking their tan is darker than it actually is, so they can shower whenever the shade is to their likings. Showering will stop the tan from getting any darker, which ultimately leaves the client in control of their own tan.

Co-founder of NUDA, Mahay Tremblay, spoke exclusively to The Tan Bible about the solution, citing it as a permanent solution in NUDA’s professional line. “This solution will always be available on our website,” says Mahay. “We've decided to launch Sugar because we didn't have a bronzer-free solution and we think that this kind of product can be great for a lot of people — especially if you have larger pores, if you're sweating a lot, or if you are afraid of transfer on clothing/sheets.”
Mahay’s note about clear solutions being great for those with larger pores means that those who are susceptible to “strawberry legs” or bronzer settling into the skin to form black dots, can avoid this since there are no added bronzers in Sugar. And of course, no added bronzer means there is no color to sweat off or transfer.
Sugar is available exclusively on Nuda.Ca and is priced at $65 USD for 33oz. NUDA advises one application should take an average of 1.7oz.
