(hot) take on the tan: I’m loyal to Isle of Paradise’s Dark Tanning Water for its natural color, lightweight feel, and hydrating properties. So I was equal parts skeptical and intrigued by the idea that something could be comparable. And to my surprise, I was instantly obsessed with the self tanning oil mist. If you’re leary of the idea of applying an oil to your face and body because it could cause you to sweat — don’t be. The spray goes on evenly, dries super fast, doesn’t leave an oily residue, and feels like there’s virtually nothing on your skin (in the best way possible). You can feel how quickly the spray sinks into the skin and instantly hydrates. Around 10/10.
how we applied: On the body: spritzed on the skin from about six inches away, totally saturating the skin until it was noticeably dewy. Then, used a tanning mitt to blend in circular, sweeping motions. On the face: applied on clean, bare skin by spraying from a few inches away to totally saturate the skin. I applied the mist at night before bed and then let the tan develop throughout the night. Around nine hours later skin was left about three shades darker.
