(hot) take on the tan: Bondi Sands’ Aero Ultra Dark is one of my favorite self-tanners, so I was excited to try the 1 Hour Express, and I definitely wasn’t disappointed. Just like the Aero Ultra Dark, it absorbs into the skin super fast, is non-sticky, and leaves a gorgeous color. The color guide is light enough so you can actually watch your tan develop and after two coats and one hour of development time, I was about three shades darker. It’s perfect for someone looking for a quick, mess-free dose of color.
how we applied: On the body: on clean, dry skin I pumped a golf ball-sized dollop on the tanning mitt and lathered each limb and body part. One dollop should cover each limb and area. I repeated the application for a second coat and then let the tan develop over one hour. Skin was left a medium brown shade.
brand background: Australian-based Bondi Sands has always been ahead of the (American) fake tanning world and they continue to do so with the launch of their Aero collection. The brand is inspired by the familiar beauty of Australia’s most popular beach, and that is translated into their products which give a tan so natural-looking you’ll look (and feel) like you just stepped off the beach.
