(hot) take on the tan: Sjolie’s Amplify mousse delivers a dark, chocolatey-brown tan that is neutral enough to compliment any skin tone. Alone, it creates a tan that is about three shades darker, or it can be used on top of a fading tan to do exactly what the name suggests…amplify. The natural bronzers create a natural-looking tan all over, but especially in those hard-to-tan spots like feet, ankles, elbows, and hands.
how we applied: On clean, dry skin swiped two layers of the tanning mousse on each body part. I saved the hands and feet for last and used a lotion as a barrier cream on the palms of my hands, bottoms of my feet, elbows, and ankles. Then, I used a kabuki brush to apply a light layer to the tops of my hands and feet, making sure to get all creases. I slept in the solution so it developed for about eight hours and woke up with a tan that was three shades darker.
