What do your courses entail? Is it solely training on how to spray tan or do you offer business guidance as well?: Our #1 goal is to create Sunless Business Owners. In order to do this, marketing and business education is an absolute must. I also understand the importance of technique and skin education which is why I became a Licensed Esthetician. Our Spray Tan Class programs focus on three different pillars as a part of our education model: Marketing, Business, and Technical Training. I truly believe this is what has led to the success of many of our students and continues to help our reputation as the top sunless business training in the industry.
What are your go-to brands/solutions? Do you have a specific solution you suggest beginners train with?: There are so many great solution brands out there. A few of my favorites in no particular order: XTan Sunless, Sunna Inc, Blush Tan, and Lavish Tan.
These brands have a great reputation, create quality products, and their overall brand culture is aligned with our values here at Spray Tan Class. My suggestion for beginners would be to know your clientele: Do they want a light, medium, or dark tan? Do they value quality ingredients? What are their values and what are YOUR values as an artist? Find the answer and search for a brand/solution that fits your wants and needs.
How long are your courses?: Our online course is typically around eight hours long. In-person and private courses are approximately six hours. Group trainings (like Slay the Spray) range from approximately four hours to three days (the entire event takes three days).
What is the most important lesson you hope your students learn during your course?: Such a great question. In all of our courses, you will hear personal advice, tips, tricks, and stories that will help you understand the truth of entrepreneurship. While it isn't "easy", it is possible. I want each student to leave our courses KNOWING they can do this because we are here to help them and they have all the tools to create that five, six, and seven figure business. That belief will help them when times get tough. It will allow them to push through the obstacles. And, when they feel like they can't push anymore, they can lean on our team to help them through that. In short: I want them to BELIEVE they can create a successful business and I want them to leave knowing they have a squad of people to support them.
