These Celebrities Were Absolutely Glowing in Their Spray Tans at Met Gala
Although there was a Met Gala in September 2021, something about the annual event taking place on the first Monday in May again just feels right. You know what else feels right? Celebrities pairing their “In American: An Anthology of Fashion” formalwear with a spray tan. Because nothing says “Gilded Glamour” quite like gorgeous glowing skin.

Kim Kardashian, and Kris and Kylie Jenner made their annual Met Gala appearances with custom spray tans by celebrity spray tan artist and founder of Dolce Glow, Isabel Vita (@IsabelAlysa) using all Dolce Glow professional solutions.

Isabel Vita was also the spray tan artist behind Gwen Stefani’s bronze tan that paired ever so perfectly with her neon green Vera Wang look.
Khloe Kardashian made her Met Gala debut in a glow by Los Angeles-based celebrity spray tan artist and founder of SKJ, Jenni Blafer (@skj). Jenni told The Tan Bible that she used one layer of a custom spray tan solution to give Khloe a glow that wasn’t too dark but paired nicely with her golden Moschino gown.
Addison Rae’s bronze look was courtesy of celebrity makeup artist Shayna Goldberg (@shaynagold) using Bondi Sands’ Glo Shimmer One Day Tan. Glo is available for $16 on Target, Amazon, and BondiSands.com. The bronzer is to be applied with a tanning mitt in long sweeping motions, let dry, and then get dressed. The one day tan is transfer-and-water-resistant that can be washed off by rubbing with a wet rag.
