CoCo Competition Tanning Certification (a course to teach the ins and outs competition tanning/tanning on-stage clients).

Glo Coaching With CoCo (An eight-week intensive private coaching program that includes weekly coaching calls, access to an exclusive sunless library, and eight different course modules to complete).

Background on Coco: CoCo first started CoCo Glo Bar to give her community a safer alternative to the harmful affects of UV tanning. Now, three years later, the business has settled into a brick-and-mortar, has the largest sunless clientele in the Boise, and has been awarded Boise's Best Tanning Salon 2019 & 2020. CoCo her self has been nominated for Business Woman of the Year in Idaho 2021 and was hand-selected by Spray Tan Class owner and beauty biz mentor Kelly Callaghan to teach Spray Tan Class; the top spray tan course in the nation.

What is the format of your training program? All forms: from one-on-one, to small classes, to virtual, to large [in-person] spray tan training tours.

How long have you been in the industry?: 12 years.

How did you get started in the industry?: I was an avid bed-tanner, and that then led to a dermatologist to have a skin evaluation where it was determined if I continued tanning the way I was, I was facing possible death. That scared me more than anything. From that point on, my sunless journey began; first, as a consumer, then, as an artist to spread awareness on the dangers of UV tanning. Now, I have the honor of teaching other babes who want to do the same.

Do you offer certifications?: Yes, on all courses.

Ranges from $497 - $1,400.

How long are your courses?: In-person Spray Tan Class is one day, virtual Spray Tan Class is at your own pace, Glo Coaching with CoCo is eight weeks.

What do your courses offer solely training how to spray tan or do you offer business guidance as well?: Both!

What are your go-to brands/solutions? Do you have a specific solution you suggest beginners train with?: We train with Obsidian, but I do love me some AYU, Prada’s Glow, Sunstyle Sunless, Dolce Glow, and Breeze.

What is the most important lesson you hope your trainees learn during your course?: As long as you do the work and stay authentic you can have a successful and sustaining beauty business.
