Review: Hollywood’s Secret Sol Sunless Tanning Mousse

(hot) take on the tan: Of Pradas Glow’s (@pradasglow) new Sol Solution trio, Hollywood’s Secret is the warm-based solution designed to warm up those with olive, blue, and violet undertones for a golden brown tan. Like its sister solution, Ibiza Nights, the color, the finish, the longevity, and the fade are all amazing. Hollywood’s Secret was used on an olive skin tone and developed into a glowing, red carpet-ready tan that was about three shades darker than my natural skin tone. If you’re looking for the perfect tan for weddings, big events, red carpets, or anywhere where pictures will be taken — this is the tan for you. It’s a dark tan that just glows differently and will photograph beautifully.
how we applied: Swiped three layers all over the body (excluding the face) right before bed, let develop while sleeping (about eight hours), and then rinsed the color guide off in the morning for a tan that was four shades darker than my natural skin tone. This tanner can be rinsed off after one hour for a glow, two hours for a light tan, three for a medium tan, or four or more hours for darker results. The longer you leave the tan on before rinsing; the darker it’ll be.
