Review: Sugared + Bronzed Bronzing Mist

price: $39 on Sugared + Bronzed

type: a lightweight mist with a dark bronze color guide

product call-outs: vegan, hypoallergenic, and fragrance-free

key ingredients: Coconut water to hydrate and rosehip extract to soothe

texture: a fine mist

dry time: about two minutes

scent: a faint coconut scent

(hot) take on the tan: I never bought into the hype of self tanners having “professional-like finishes” until I tried S+B’s bronzing mist. With just a few sweeping sprays, your face, neck, and decolletage (or wherever you choose to use it) look like you just got a professional S+B spray tan. The mist delivers an even (not speckled like a lot of bronzing mists) dark brown tan. I prefer to use the mist on my face in lieu of makeup when I need a major pick-me-up (and want to look like I just spent a week at the beach). Added bonus? If you’re a pro at applying self tanners, this mist is a great tool to use to contour your face or body. To contour your face, simply spritz right below the cheek bone (where you would normally apply bronzer when contouring with makeup).

how we applied: Held the can about six inches away from the skin and sprayed in circular motions across face, neck, and decolletage.

Sugared + Bronzed’s Bronzing Mist

A fine bronzing mist with a professional-grade finish.

brand background: If you live in (or have ever visited) Los Angeles, NYC, or Philadelphia, you’ve likely spotted at least one of Courtney Claghorn’s Sugared + Bronzed locations. The beige and pale blue exteriors and serene, beachy interiors provoke a quick mental vacation right before you walk out of your appointment looking like you’ve been on vacation. The salons include sugar hair removal and airbrush tans under one roof and have recently developed products to take the one-of-a-kind experience home with you.
