Meet Bronze Palms’ Founder,
Emily Abrams
Emily Abrams, founder of Bronze Palms, launched the business in 2020 as a mobile spray tanning service at just 23 years old. A California native, she quickly scaled from tanning clients in their homes and her apartment studio to opening a salon suite in Campbell. By 2022, demand led her to expand into a full storefront, building a loyal client base and a standout team—making the Campbell location one of her proudest milestones.
In 2023, Emily introduced a clean, professional-grade product line designed for both in-salon use and retail, with custom formulations now stocked in salons and boutiques worldwide. She continued her growth in 2024 by opening a second location in her hometown of Thousand Oaks, returning to her roots while expanding the brand’s Southern California presence. After a strategic pause in 2025 to focus on leadership, brand exposure, and personal balance, she entered 2026 with momentum—securing a second Thousand Oaks storefront and continuing to work hands-on as a service provider.
Emily has bootstrapped the business from the ground up without outside investment, combining her background in cosmetic chemistry formulation with five years of digital marketing experience to build a brand rooted in performance and community. She remains deeply involved in daily operations, has trained over 50 women in spray tanning, and is widely recognized as an expert in the space—frequently speaking at industry events and on podcasts while continuing to grow Bronze Palms with intention.
