Mix was built from real experience, not theory. At 18, founder Katherine started spray tanning out of her university dorm room with only $900 and one clear focus: making spray tanning sexy by creating a true brown tan that never turned orange. With a background in art and color theory, she began mixing different solutions and brands to achieve results that didn’t exist in the industry at the time.
That experimentation became a method, that method became a system, and that system became Mix Sunless.
By 25, Katherine had built a multi-million dollar spray tan business Mix Mansion, now awarded the busiest spray tan boutiques in both Toronto and Miami, with waitlists of 1,000+ clients and hundreds of clients served weekly.
