(hot) take on the tan: Tanologist’s self tanning drops are a clear liquid that can be added to your daily face and body moisturizers. The medium drops begin to develop around one hour after application and will leave you around three shades darker at the darkest. The more drops and the longer you let it develop, the darker your tan will be.
how we applied: Dropped three drops of tanner into a dollop of moisturizer for the face and per body part, except for the hands and feet where I used one drop per foot and hand. Applied the moisturizer in long sweeping motions. Thoroughly washed hands after application. Put loose-fitting clothes on about five minutes after application.
brand background: Prior to launching Tanologist, founder and beauty influencer Lottie Tomlinson tried just about every self tanner under the sun, but none gave her the clean (application and ingredients), streak-free, odorless, noncomedogenic glow she was looking for. Thus, she took it upon herself to develop Tanologist. The brand launched in 2018 and in less than two years, it’s quickly become a favorite among influencers and beauty-lovers alike.
