About Alietha’s sunless courses:
This all-inclusive spray tanning course blends theory, technique, and real-world application into one streamlined experience. Training includes six to 12 hours of education, hands-on instruction, live models, and—depending on your package—professional equipment, products, and solutions so you can begin earning immediately after completion.
Whether you’re new to sunless tanning or ready to elevate your skills, this course is designed to give you the confidence, tools, and expertise to build a profitable, professional spray tanning business from day one.
Format:
Online Training: Our online program is built around structured, easy-to-follow modules, each designed to guide students step by step through the fundamentals and advanced techniques of spray tanning. Students complete a knowledge assessment at the end of the course and submit a video of themselves performing a spray tan, allowing me to provide personalized, constructive feedback to help refine technique and build confidence.
In-Person Training: The in-person experience offers a hands-on, structured class that includes a comprehensive training manual and full access to the online course for continued learning. This training covers a wide range of essential topics, including the history of sunless tanning, FDA guidelines, ingredient education (such as aloe vs. alcohol), the Fitzpatrick Skin Type Scale, and more.
Together, these programs combine everything I’ve learned through years of professional training and real-world experience—thoughtfully wrapped into one complete, industry-ready education.
Go-to solutions: I use a variety of solutions including Unfiltered,X-Tan’s Bronzite,Dolce Glow,Sunless by Jimmy Coco, and more. I typically tell my students to start out on a budget to get their technique down to use Tampa Bay Tans and then move up to premium solutions.
Course length: Six to eight hours depending on the package, plus four one-on-one sessions through via Zoom or phone.
What is the most important lesson you hope your students learn during your course?: I want my students to learn how to keep both themselves and their client safe while offering a high-end tanning experience. My priority is making sure each student feels confident and supported with their journey of being a new entrepreneur.
