Review: Glazed Original Dark Rapid
brand background: Glazed Sunless (@glazedsunless) was created by San Diego-based spray tan artist and salon owner Audrey Lyons. The veteran sunless professional launched the brand in 2022 after years of mixing solutions with olive, violet, and brown bases to find the perfect blend. And thus came the OG Glazed Dark Rapid. All Glazed products are cruetly-free and free of parabens and sulfates while being packed with nourishing ingredients like hyaluronic acid and jojoba seed oil for a hydrated, long-lasting tan.

how we applied: On clean, dry skin I sprayed from about eight inches away. The solution soaked into the skin quickly leaving it feeling hydrated yet non-sticky. I let the tan develop for the full eight hours for the darkest tan possible. The tan developed into a deep, rich tan about five shades darker than my natural shade.
(hot) take on the tan: If you’re a professional spray tan artist who is active on social media then you’ve likely seen chatter about Glazed. Well, I’m here to tell you Glazed’s Original Dark Rapid lives up to the hype. It’s a phenomenal universal solution for any skin type as it’s full of olive, violet, and brown bronzers to interact with a range of undertones to create a flawless, glowing tan. The 14% DHA solution is also uniquely designed to be used as both a rapid for a light to medium tan or classic/overnight solution for a deep dark tan. You can rinse after two hours for a subtle glow, three hours for a light tan, four hours for medium, five hours for medium-dark, six to seven hours for dark, and rinsing after eight hours will give you the darkest outcome possible.
Thanks to the solutions mix of bronzers, the tan had a lot of dimension that helped it sit beautifully on the skin with a flawless, even skin finish. The tan lasted a whopping six days before starting to fade in the usual areas (hands, wrists, and feet).
Glazed makes for a great staple in any spray tan kit as it’s versatile and can be used to meet a wide range tan goals and skin types.
