(hot) take on the tan: Sol Potion’s Tahitian Sol collection is designed to repair and protect dry and damaged skin. All four of the solutions that make up the collection are infused with rose hip, jojoba, avocado, and grape seed oils to deliver a nourishing, long-lasting tan.
I tried the rapid solution and the result was a rich olive brown tan that cancelled out my skin’s reddish undertones. I let the tan develop for four hours before rinsing resulting in a shade that was four shades darker than my natural skin tone. The tan held on for five days before beginning to evenly fade. It’s worth noting that I tried Sol Potion’s Rapid Tahitian Sol solution before a beach vacation so its longevity was impressive considering I was in the water and sand for hours on end two days in a row. (And we all know soaking sunless tanned skin in water is a recipe for a faded tan.)
I would recommend this rapid solution to artists whose clients love rapids but also have dry skin or live in a climate where the air is dry.
