(hot) take on the tan: Celebrity spray tan artist Isabel Vita created the self tanning extension of her professional sunless brand, Dolce Glow, in February 2020 and with it came LUSSO (which means “luxury” in Italian). LUSSO is an olive-base self tanning mousse which can be used as a rapid or a standard development time mousse. You can let the tan develop for two to four hours for a light tan, four to six for a medium tan, and six+ hours for a dark tan. After using, I was in awe at not only the rich tan, but how even and flawless my skin looked. This self tanner is amazing for a range of people, but specifically those looking for the luxurious skincare aspects which include evening out skin tones, cancelling redness, and creating an all-around glow that sets the foundation for any look.
how we applied: On the body: on clean, dry skin I pumped a ping pong ball-sized dollop on the tanning mitt and lathered each limb and body part. One dollop should cover each limb and area. I repeated the application for a second coat and then let the tan develop over eight hours. Skin is left with a rich, deep, brown tan that was perfectly even — living up to its “streak-free” claims.
