Review: Skinny Tan Mousse

(hot) take on the tan: Before applying Skinny Tan’s mousse I was skeptical of what the results would be like since the mousse comes as a universal shade, versus one specific shade (like light, medium, or dark). However, I was so pleasantly surprised by the deep, natural color that lasted super long. To paint the picture as to just how durable this tan was: I have nauseatingly dry skin; applied the tan in the middle of cold, dry winter; I use hand sanitizer and wash my hands religiously; and my tan usually starts to fade on my hands within three days. However, with Skinny Tan the tan on my hands (and all over my body) lasted for a solid seven days before tanning.
As for the color itself, since it is customizable, the more layers you apply = the darker it will be, so I applied three layers for a dark tan.
how we applied: Applied three layers with a tanning mitt all over the body (excluding the face) right before bed, used a kabuki bush on my hands and feet, let develop while sleeping, and then rinsed the color guide off in the morning.
