How did you get started in the spray tanning industry, and what inspired you to open your business in Lebanon County?
“I’ve been getting spray tans since I was in my early 20s. They have come a really long way since then, thankfully! I actually have my master’s degree in education and was a teacher. I started spray tanning part-time, and then it just took off, so I decided to go full-time and haven’t looked back.”
Tell us about your salon and the spray tanning services you offer.
“Currently, I’m a spray tan-only salon, but that could always change one day. All of my spray tans are considered rapids. I offer luxe rapid spray tans, bronzer-free spray tans, sweat-resistant spray tans, and tan and tone options. A lot of my brides choose the bronzer-free option or the sweat-resistant spray tan.”
What makes your spray tans and client experience different from other spray tan studios in your area?
“I hope when my clients come in, they feel comfortable right away and that it’s like chatting with an old friend while getting a spray tan. I always include prep spray, hydration spray, and finishing powder during my sessions. I don’t upcharge for these items, and they are always included.
Additionally, I always have sticky feet, hair ties, pasties, and makeup wipes for all of my clients. I truly care about my clients and love to catch up with them at our appointments. You always have me spraying you, so you’ll get to know me as well!
Clients are free to message me about any questions or concerns they might have, and I will always respond to them. It’s super important to me that my clients feel beautiful and confident when they leave a session with me!”
How do you customize each spray tan to your client's skin tone, desired color, and lifestyle?
“I am trained in color theory, so that helps when I choose a solution or a mix that I think might look good on them. I always chat with my clients before I spray them and before I mix anything up.
Even if you’ve come to me 40 times before, I’ll still touch base with you to see what the tan is for and what kind of tan you’re looking for. I always customize the color to each of my client’s skin types. There are no orange or spotty tans here!!”
What products or spray tan solutions do you use, and what do you love about them?
“I use rapid solutions and love the line that I use. Using prep spray, hydration spray, and finishing powder is the chef’s kiss to a good spray tan, in my opinion.
The solutions I use are super high quality and last a long time (with proper prep and aftercare, of course)! My clients are also really loving my powder gun (shoutout to Glow Set Powder Gun) for after the spray.”
What types of occasions do Lebanon County clients typically book spray tans for?
“Clients book me for all of the things!! I get a lot of brides, bridesmaids, and mothers of the bride or groom. I also get a lot of clients going on vacations, business trips, branding shoots, homecoming, and prom.
Another big one is a spray tan just because! Spray tans truly are self-care. They are such a confidence booster!! I’m so honored to help women feel better about themselves.”
What's your best advice for getting the most natural-looking, long-lasting spray tan?
“My advice for a natural-looking, long-lasting spray tan is to follow the prep instructions that you are given, as well as choosing a spray tan technician who has good reviews, is educated, and doesn’t rush your appointment.
I also advise following the post-tan care instructions. Good products that are spray tan-safe are super important to a lasting tan. It’s not just the person applying the tan that makes the tan awesome, it’s also the client.”
What would you say to someone looking for a spray tan in the Lebanon County area who is considering booking with you for the first time?
“If you’ve never been in to see me, I’d love to meet you. I know that people who are new to spray tans get nervous and feel vulnerable. That’s totally normal. But it’s my goal to make you feel as comfortable as possible!
I always tell my new clients to trust the process, and they will be super happy with the final results. My tans are not a one-size-fits-all color. We talk about your tanning history, your skin, your expectations, and what event, etc., you’re wanting the tan for. A lot of thought and experience goes into the custom mix.
I truly love this job. And honestly, I genuinely care about each and every one of my clients. From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave, I want you to feel welcomed, confident, and cared for. Your tan should be more than just a service—it should be your time to feel good about YOU.
