How did you get started in the spray tanning industry, and what inspired you to open Rebel Glow Sunless?
“Beauty has always been a passion of mine, especially skincare, which is what originally led me to become a licensed aesthetician. As a single mother, I was also inspired to build something of my own and set an example for my children. I knew I had a lot to offer and wanted the freedom to do things my own way, put my personal touch into my work, and create an experience for my clients that truly reflects who I am.”
Tell us about your business and the spray tanning services you offer throughout Palm Beach County.
“Rebel Glow Sunless specializes in customized airbrush spray tanning, offering both in-studio appointments and mobile VIP services throughout Palm Beach County. I offer rapid and overnight solutions, facial and body contouring, bridal and wedding tanning, and competition tanning for bodybuilders.
While sunless tanning is the main focus of my business, I am also a permanent makeup artist, offering lip blushing and ombré powder brows.”
What makes your spray tans and client experience different from other spray tan studios in Palm Beach County?
“I think what sets Rebel Glow Sunless apart is that I truly treat every spray tan as a custom service. I don’t believe in choosing a solution simply based on how dark someone wants to be. My background as a licensed aesthetician, along with my knowledge of skincare and color theory, allows me to look at skin tone, undertones, skin condition, and the client’s overall goal before deciding what will give them the best result.
Just as important to me is the experience. Spray tanning can feel vulnerable, so I make sure my studio is welcoming, comfortable, and completely judgment-free. I want every client to leave feeling confident, taken care of, and excited about their glow.”
How do you customize each spray tan to your client's skin tone, desired color, and lifestyle?
“Every appointment begins with a consultation. I look at the client’s natural skin tone and undertones, skin condition, tanning history, desired depth of color, lifestyle, and what they may be tanning for. From there, I choose or custom blend the solution, determine the appropriate development time, and adjust my application technique when needed.
I can also customize facial and body contouring to create subtle definition. My goal is never to give every client the same tan—it’s to create the most natural, flattering glow for the individual person in front of me.”
What products or spray tan solutions do you use, and what do you love about them?
“I work with several professional sunless brands, including Nuda, Glazed Sunless, Alt Sunless, Sjolie, Get Into The Limelight, and Sobe Tan, among others. I do have my favorite brands, but I love having a variety of professional solutions available because different undertones, formulations, and development times allow me to customize the tan rather than trying to make one product work for everyone.
Depending on the client, I may use one solution or custom blend different formulas to achieve the color I’m looking for. I also offer facial and body contouring techniques to add natural-looking definition while keeping the overall result seamless.
I’ve also invested in industry-leading spray tanning equipment and take air quality and proper ventilation in my studio seriously. Creating a clean, comfortable environment for my clients and for myself is just as important to me as the products and techniques I use.”
What types of occasions do Palm Beach County clients typically book spray tans for?
“My clients come to me for weddings and bridal parties, vacations, birthdays, photoshoots, special events, bodybuilding competitions, and so many other occasions. But honestly, you don’t need a special event to want to feel good with a great tan!
I have many regular clients who love to keep their glow, so they remain on the books for their biweekly spray tans. I even have some who like to come every week.”
What's your best advice for getting the most natural-looking, long-lasting spray tan?
“Follow your prep and aftercare instructions! I always say a beautiful tan is 50% your artist and 50% your prep and aftercare. I can give you a beautiful custom airbrush tan, but how you prepare your skin beforehand and care for it afterward directly affects how your tan develops, how evenly it fades, and its longevity.
Exfoliation, shaving, moisturizing, the body products you use, shower temperature, and time spent in pools, hot tubs, or the ocean can all affect your results. Proper prep and aftercare really are the secret to getting the most out of your spray tan!”
What would you say to someone looking for the best spray tan in Palm Beach County who is considering booking with you for the first time?
“Do your research! Don’t choose a spray tan artist based on a few pretty pictures alone. Read their Google reviews and, more importantly, read what individual clients actually say about their results and experience.
Look for consistency. Are clients talking about natural-looking color, how the tan fades, how comfortable the artist made them feel, and whether they continue coming back? Those details tell you much more about a business than an advertisement ever could.
